Provides nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort and personal needs of patients. Assists pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients with activities of daily living and performs procedures for physical hygiene and comfort of patients. Patient Care Tech also acts a courier, delivering and retrieving items/materials as required.
The PCT residency is an 8 week program designed for CNA's with less than one year of hospital experience. The program will consist of classroom days and clinic days on the unit. All positions are fulltime.
- Listed as a CNA on the Georgia Registry
- OR Graduate of a U.S. Military Medic course
- OR Enrolled in a School of Nursing and has completed one (1) full semester of clinical rotations
- OR Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Medical Degree program
- OR GPN or EMT with one year experience with relevant training and experience
- Current BLS card (CPR)
