Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Occupational Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 2 years of experience and a current CA license for a day shift outpatient position serving adolescents through geriatrics. Responsibilities Position is in an outpatient occupational therapy setting within an acute care hospital Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric clients Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM One weekend day (typically Sunday) is required every other weekend Travelers may float between outpatient, acute rehab, and other inpatient units EMR system used is Epic All travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state as needed Returning employees must have a 3-month gap as a former perm staff and reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility Requested time off must be included at time of consideration; substantial RTO may impact eligibility Dress code for therapists is not specified; scrubs for other departments are royal blue Free parking is available onsite First-time travelers are not accepted for this assignment Requirements Active CA Occupational Therapist license required if applicable Minimum 2 years of relevant OT experience required Current BLS certification required Epic experience required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-646608.
