Responsibilities:
The Business Analyst will support Barrow Wise's Illinois State Retirement System project and perform the following duties:
- Work with the users to identify what needs to be accomplished
- Work with the developers and technical architects to define the optimal way to implement technology
- Demonstrate the ability to evaluate processes and procedures and find areas for improvement with enhanced technology
- Document clearly through user stories and other documentation the as-is and to-be states
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure a functional application is delivered
- Demonstrate the ability to establish a rapport with stakeholders to build trust and confidence
- Work remotely
An ideal candidate has the following:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Three (3) years of experience documenting user stories and managing processes using Azure DevOps
- Three (3) years of experience giving presentations to groups of up to 20 people
- Five (5) years of experience analyzing and improving the Pension System
- Three (3) years of experience with Agile or other iterative development methodologies preferred
