Kentucky Children s Hospital Pediatric ED: As one of only two tertiary pediatric centers in Kentucky, the Pediatric Emergency Department serves as a leading referral center for the region. With over 32,000 annual pediatric ED visits, our department is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care to children in need.
PRACTICE HIGHLIGHTS
- Scope of Practice: Full-spectrum pediatric emergency medicine, including acute stabilization, trauma, and emergent care for children of all ages.
- State-of-the-Art Facilities: 31-bed Pediatric ED with additional treatment spaces; department expansion planned with a brand-new, state-of-the-art Pediatric ED in the coming years.
- Comprehensive Support: 24/7 respiratory therapists, pharmacists, social workers, dedicated Pediatric ED child life specialists, and in-person interpreter services.
- Collaborative Environment: 24/7 in-house PICU attending coverage, pediatric orthopedics group affiliated with Shriners Hospitals, full spectrum of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialties, and dedicated neonatal and critical care transport teams.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine (BC/BE)
- Strong clinical skills and commitment to teaching and academic growth
- Eligible for licensure in the state of Kentucky
