Job Summary and Qualifications: The Certified Central Sterile Technician is responsible for proper decontamination, cleaning, assembly, sterilization and storage of instrumentation for surgery and outside departments. What you will do in this role: prepare instruments and supplies through cleaning, packing, sterilizing and storing procedures, understand principles of sterilization techniques and operate sterilization equipment, assemble all instruments, trays, and drill drays for operating rooms according to policies and procedures, perform equipment distribution and routing cleaning and maintenance, perform crash cart restocking/exchange, and follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. What qualifications you will need: Cert Sterile Proc/Distrib Tech, or Certified Registered Central Service Technician, or Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT), or Certified Surgical Technician (CST).
