Wound Care RN (Registered Nurse)

Salary: Up to $50 an hour

Job Duties:
  • Responsible for accurate and timely documentation of wounds in the nurse's notes at least weekly
  • Responsible for all treatments required by licensed nurses on your shift and ensuring the wound care treatments are carried out at other times
  • Evaluate high risk patients for pressure reduction interventions methods
  • Conduct body assessments and documentation on all new admissions per policy
  • Round with doctors weekly to assist with assessing residents
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Must be a self starter, hard working and dedicated professional willing to join our team
  • Must have at least 1 year experience with wound care
  • Current and valid RN license in the State of NY
  • Active CPR Certificate
  • Point Click a Plus
  • Wound care certification desired
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in LTC preferred but not required
  • Positive attitude and a team player
