Job Description

AECOM seeks a Procurement Specialist to work remotely with Pacific Time hours.

Job Summary

This role supports efficient execution for managing, preparing, and analyzing contracts and procurement agreements for CAHSR.

Job Responsibilities
  • Apply knowledge of procurement processes, market research, and business management to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Utilize innovative cost?and?time?efficient strategies in acquisition decision?making.
  • Formulate contracting approach to satisfy requirements; determine contract type and develop clauses and terms.
  • Perform cost and price analysis for negotiations and support documentation for price fairness.
  • Maintain liaison with contractors for contract interpretation and problem resolution under Contract Manager direction.
  • Coordinate with legal, finance, and other departments to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement contract management policies and procedures, identifying improvement areas.
  • Monitor contract execution to ensure obligations are met, maintaining detailed records.
  • Provide training and guidance on contract issues to teammates and staff.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align contracts with business objectives and risk tolerance.
  • Under supervision, review and modify negotiated contract terms to mitigate risk.
  • Prepare purchasing files, reports, and price lists; issue purchase orders to suppliers.
  • Track status of requisitions, contracts, and orders.
  • Contribute to overall success of the AECOM and CAHSR office by performing all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • BA/BS plus six years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters Degree or Juris Doctor.
  • FAC?C Professional, DAWIA Level II or III, or equivalent.
  • Five years experience in contract management, pricing structures, negotiation, project support, finance, contracting, or proposals.
  • Strong presentation and written communication skills.
  • Well?developed organizational and time?management skills.
  • Leadership skills with ability to manage multiple priorities within strict deadlines.
Additional Information
  • Travel may be required.
  • Sponsorship is not offered.

Compensation

Range: $85,675 to $158,498 per year.
