Emerging Tech is seeking experienced Phlebotomists to support the VA Maine Healthcare System. This is an excellent opportunity to serve veterans while working in a professional and supportive healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform venipunctures, capillary punctures, and specimen collection in accordance with VA standards.
- Properly label and handle samples for laboratory analysis.
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow strict infection control protocols.
- Provide compassionate and professional care to veterans.
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and laboratory staff to ensure quality patient care.
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Strong venipuncture skills, attention to detail, and excellent patient interaction.
- Must be able to pass a background check and VA credentialing process.
