Objective

Coordinate and support the daily work. Overview of the order/task situation, focusing on containment and corrective actions during order/task execution time frame.

Starting salary

Starting salary - 23.50 additional Team Lead Stipend applies.

Brief description of position

(outline job duties and responsibilities):

  • Examine shipment contents and compare with packing list and purchase orders to verify accuracy.
  • Receiving shipment data in system and note any damages or discrepancies
  • Expectations & Responsibilities:
  • Review, plan, coordinate, and support the daily work of the department with a continuous focus on our ALPS priorities Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
  • Drive daily ALPS Performance Meetings and weekly Improvement Meetings in the dept.
  • Run the daily shift startup/handover meetings.
  • Participate in projects and improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in all aspects of the Problem Resolution Process to help determine the root causes of problems and create sustainable solutions.
  • Provide departmental training and work as needed.
  • Write and audit SOPs as required, and drive improvements to the processes.
  • Own the warehouse and all inbound/outbound activities with coordination with the production team.
  • Manage inventory both onsite and offsite with Cycle/Spot counting, documentation management, and communication with offsite storage suppliers.
  • Perform incoming material inspections.
  • Process Return Material Authorization (RMAs) and Material Return Authorization (MRAs).
  • Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Investigate claims and support resolution.
  • Serve as liaison between the dept., support functions, and Team Manager.

  • Ability to multi-task, self-manage, and prioritize to meet deadlines.
