Warehouse Material Handler (Entry Level)

The employee is responsible for moving, stacking, and organizing materials within the warehouse. This role supports daily logistics, inventory management, and order fulfillment while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
  • Move materials to designated storage areas, racks, or pallets.
  • Assist with order picking, packing, and staging for shipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and activity logs.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely and efficient operations.
  • Pick and wrap orders for shipment.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in packaging and material handling.
  • Forklift operation skills.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks such as bending, squatting, and maneuvering packages.
  • Basic math and inventory skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jeffersonville, IN.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
