Role Summary

This role will drive the design in and design win of NXP BLE products and connectivity solutions across Smart Car Access applications. As a customer?centric BLE FAE, youll support key auto Tier1 and OEM customers to solve the critical technical issues in the customer product development lifecycle from pre?sales promotion to hardware design, software development and mass?production readiness. The role offers hands?on lab experience, direct customer engagement, and cross?functional collaboration between customers, sales, and R&D, enabling you to master cutting?edge technologies, strengthen problem?solving skills and grow into a trusted expert in automotive car access industry.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for delivering field technical support on NXP automotive BLE products/solutions in assigned China Tier1s/OEMs, with in?depth design assistance leveraging NXP technical resources (Product Line Specialist / Market Development Engineer / Applications Support).
  • Proactively demonstrate NXP products/solutions to meet customer specifications and conditions, propose customized solutions together with relative marketing/sales and technical expertise in the team, and influence PL roadmap based on customer feedback.
  • Establish good contact with the customers technical team; track design?in projects progress with regular updates; debug issues faced by the customer in lab and field; suggest patches/workarounds for blocking customer issues.
  • Provide remote and on?site support for critical bug fix, system bring?up, and production readiness; conduct detailed SCH/PCB layout reviews to identify potential risks such as signal integrity, low?power optimization, and BLE stack/profile adaptation.
  • Create high?quality technical collateral including application notes, troubleshooting guides, and training materials to enable customers and partners at scale.
  • Train DFAEs/DAE and customer engineers, assess technical capabilities, and ensure partners can independently resolve common issues and accelerate project timelines.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
  • More than 3 years of experience in embedded systems development and familiarity with common communication interfaces such as SPI, UART, IC, CAN/CAN?FD and LIN. Strong understanding of ARM Cortex?M architecture, including exception handling, secure boot, low?power modes, good debugging skills in embedded software development and basic RF/hardware capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of BLE protocol and ability to interpret BLE core specifications; experienced in using BLE protocol analyzers (Frontline/Ellisys) and standard lab instruments (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
  • Practical experience with embedded RTOS like FreeRTOS/ThreadX/Linux; good debugger skills.
  • Good English skills in speaking and writing, documentation and reporting skills.
  • Energetic with passion, career wish in automotive industry, strong self.pm study capability.
  • Experience in productivity tools (AI tool, VScode, Git, Confluence, Jiara) nice to have.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML algorithms applied to general localization application nice to have.
  • Experience in BLE channel sounding, RSSI sniffing, handover, UWB, NFC}$ are all good plus.
