Part-Time Traveling Oral Surgeon

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced, compassionate Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our growing dental network in the Asheville, NC region. This unique traveling position offers flexibility and variety youll provide surgical services across seven established, modern dental offices, each equipped with experienced support staff and state-of-the-art technology.
The ideal candidate is a board-certified or board-eligible oral surgeon who values patient-centered care, enjoys working in diverse clinical settings, and thrives in a collaborative, team-based environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including extractions, implants, bone grafting, and pathology.
- Conduct consultations and develop comprehensive treatment plans in coordination with referring general dentists.
- Travel to assigned partner offices within the Asheville area on a rotating schedule.
- Provide follow-up care and ensure high standards of patient satisfaction and safety.
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation.
- Foster strong relationships with referring providers and office teams.
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
- Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program.
- Board certified or board eligible in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
- Current North Carolina dental license (or eligibility for licensure).
- Current DEA and BLS/ACLS certification.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
