Job Title: EEG Technologist Profession: Operations Specialty: Medical Group Operations Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: N/A Certifications: BLS, EEG certification (unless grandfathered in from experience) Must-Have: Neonatal experience, electrode placement, prepping patients, recording/measuring, pattern recognition, wrapping head for continuous EEG Description: Comprehensive Stroke Center with Level 1 Trauma designation. Working with patients ranging from neonates to geriatric populations. Responsible for testing patients with seizures, strokes, and other neurological conditions. Will be required to float to ICU to perform tests. Patient ratios are 1:1 during procedures. Other EEG technicians will be available for support. Rapid Response Team and EEG Supervisor on site. Emergency situations will involve calling 911 for outpatient cases. Charting system preference is Epic. Experience with Nihon Kohden software is required. Weekend rotation is mandatory, working every weekend. If a holiday falls on a scheduled workday, the candidate will be expected to work.
