Reporting to the Store Manager, as a Retail Specialist you will act as an ambassador of the brand. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience and driving sales. This position involves engaging with guests, understanding their needs, and providing knowledgeable assistance to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction. You will be responsible for maintaining an organized and visually appealing store, handling transactions efficiently, and staying informed about the latest products and promotions.
Responsibilities- Represent Skymint in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate current promotions.
- Responsible for driving sales and the Skymint guest experience.
- Promote guest retention through exceptional service.
- Ensure store compliance standards are met.
- Cash handling skills and ability to operate a point-of-sale system.
- Ability to effectively recommend cannabis products to guests based on needs.
- Staying current with new products, trends, operations and regulations by utilizing the Skymint Learning Management System.
- Daily tasks including servicing guests, cleaning, stocking, order fulfillment and store merchandising.
- Excellent guest service skills.
- Desire to develop knowledge of our products and services.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
- Basic computer and information technology skills.
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
- Physical requirements ability to stand for long periods of time and be able to lift 30lbs.
- Must be 21 years of age and able to pass a background check.
- Prior sales and retail experience.
- Prior cannabis industry knowledge.
- Experience in a heavily regulated environment.
