Highway Design Project Manager

- Roadway and bridge design

Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage highway design projects from concept to completion for DOT and municipal clients.
- Direct multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality roadway and bridge design solutions.
- Serve as the primary client liaison, ensuring strong communication, responsiveness, and project success.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables to ensure compliance with client standards.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
- Collaborate with internal teams on transportation planning, traffic engineering, and construction administration tasks.
- Apply DOT standards, guidelines, and permitting processes to all project phases.
- Utilize Bentley Products (MicroStation and OpenRoads) for roadway and highway design.
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college (required).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of practice (required).
- 5+ years of highway design project management experience.
- Experience with Kansas or Oklahoma DOT design projects (preferred).
- Familiarity with Kansas or Oklahoma DOT standards and practices.
- Proficiency with Bentley Products MicroStation and OpenRoads.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
