Responsibilities
  • The Association Manager works directly with the Executive Director and staff team to ensure the operational success of the client association.
  • Manages membership databases, record-keeping, reporting and other administrative tasks.
  • Develops and manages association website content.
  • Acts as primary contact for members, non-members and interested parties, responding to mail, email and telephone calls.
  • Develops Board and committee agendas.
  • Develops and maintains annual communications plan and coordinates distribution of email communications to members and other identified audiences.
  • Reviews and analyzes information affecting members and drafts and disseminates appropriate reports and other communications.
  • Supports committees and advances projects and programs of committees.
Qualifications
  • Self-directed, flexible, team player.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in stressful situations.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, able to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to think strategically and use independent judgment.
  • Good keyboard and MS application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database management skills; Dreamweaver experience a plus.
  • Minimum 2 years association management experience and bachelors degree required.
