- Setting: Urgent Care Center
- Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel Contract)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks, with potential extension
- Hours per Week: 36
- Shift: 12-hour shifts
- Patient Population: Adults and Pediatrics (ages 6 months and up)
- Average Patient Volume: 50-60 patients daily
- Start Date: ASAP
- Active Nurse Practitioner license (NP Boards) - North Carolina
- Minimum 1 year of experience in urgent care or acute care settings
- Current BLS certification
- Proficiency with Epic EMR (training provided)
- Ability to work independently as sole provider
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel to multiple urgent care locations within a 65-mile radius
- Deliver comprehensive urgent care services to adults and pediatric patients
- Perform minor procedures: I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other acute care interventions
- Efficiently manage high patient volume (up to 60 patients per day)
- Document patient encounters using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with Center Manager, Medical Assistant, and PSA for optimal patient care
- Participate in onboarding and EMR training before first solo shift
- Maintain high standards of patient care and professionalism
