Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health care to a diverse patient population. Your expertise will help us deliver tailored solutions according to individual needs. This position offers flexibility, with options for full or part-time work (.5-1.0 FTE) on a hybrid schedule, including at least two in-office days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use evidence-based tools and diagnostic criteria to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic techniques based on patient requirements.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications while monitoring their effectiveness and side effects to enhance patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and clinical documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted PMHNP license in Pennsylvania.
- Board certification as a PMHNP-BC from the ANCC or eligibility for certification.
- Valid DEA registration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in psychiatric/mental health nursing in an outpatient environment.
- Experience in patient education regarding medication adherence and aftercare services.
- Proficiency in advanced psychotherapeutic techniques, including group counseling.
- Experience working with diverse age groups, including older adults, and with couples or families.
- Comfortable using technology for communications and medical documentation (e.g., Excel, Outlook, EHRs like Athena RMS).

Compensation: The salary range for this role typically falls between $104,500 and $156,000, influenced by local labor market dynamics, educational background, and work experience. Additional benefits include a comprehensive package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase options, and 401k contributions. All benefits are subject to eligibility criteria.
