The Department of State Hospitals-Napa is accepting applications for multiple full-time permanent Custodian I positions. The successful candidates will work as members of the Housekeeping Team within the General Services Department. Only the most qualified candidates will be contacted for an interview.

Range A. This range shall apply to incumbents who do not meet the criteria for payment in Range B.
Range B. This range shall apply to incumbents that are employed by the California Correctional Health Care Services, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, California Department of Veterans Affairs, California Prison Industry Authority, Department of Development Services, or the Department of State Hospitals.
Prior to movement to another class in State service or the same class in another State agency, an employee receiving compensation under Range B shall first be returned to Range A at a salary the employee would have received if they remained in Range A.
Movement between Range A and Range B shall be based on California Code of Regulations, title 2, section 599.681.
