Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as an Operations Leader, where you will be at the forefront of ensuring that millions of packages reach Amazon customers every day. You will guide and inspire a team of talented individuals, combining safety, quality, attendance, and performance in our operations.

In this role, you will equip your team with essential tools for success and drive productivity and efficiency improvements through data-driven decision-making and analytical problem-solving. Your commitment will help maintain our high customer expectations, ensuring that orders are delivered correctly and promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support, mentor, and energize your salaried and hourly workforce.
  • Lead significant projects that impact both the site and the regional level.
  • Develop and implement productivity strategies based on forecast reviews and collaboratively manage workload with other leaders.
  • Oversee safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery commitments.
  • Work alongside support teams like Safety, Engineering, and Human Resources to develop plans that achieve business objectives.
  • Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 49 pounds and standing/walking for up to 12 hours.
  • Adapt to various working conditions, including exposure to high noise levels and variable temperatures.
  • Navigate facilities with stairs where applicable.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in employee and performance management.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of experience at Amazon.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience with performance metrics and process improvement.
  • Experience managing a team with 2+ salaried employees and over 70 indirect employees.
  • Familiarity with Lean process, Kaizen, or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding departmental performance goals.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's in a relevant field such as Engineering, Operations, or Supply Chain.
  • Experience in industries such as manufacturing, automotive, or logistics.
