Must-Have: 2 years of OR experience is required; travel experience is preferred.

Description:
Unit has 7 OR suites.
Average number of cases per day is 15-20.
Techs and RNs must have BLS certification.
Electronic medical record system is Cerner Surginet.
Charge nurse is available, but not 24/7.
Weekend call requirement for RNs and CSTs is one weekend per month.
Call requirement includes one call night per week for RNs and CSTs.
Call response time is 30 minutes.
Holiday work is only required in emergencies.
Scrub color is provided.
Television equipment is Philips.
Surgeon on-call hours are 24/7.
IV team is not available.
Respiratory therapy is available 24/7.
Pharmacy is not available 24/7; after-hours support is provided.
Shifts are 8 hours with variable start times, scheduled by management.
Floating is not required.
Floor-specific orientation depends on skillset.
Common case types include a high volume of orthopedic cases, including total joints, general, gynecological, pediatric, and eye surgeries.
Travelers will not be assigned to cardiac cases.
Scrubbing is required for all technicians.
Scrubbing is preferred for RNs.
Sterile processing technicians must have BLS certification and be certified through IAHCSMM.
Equipment used includes autoclaves, Steris, and V-pro.
Cancellation policy allows for up to 4 shifts to be canceled during a 13-week assignment.
Charting system is Cerner.
A BSN is not required.
Trauma level is unspecified.
Care setting is acute.
Division is allied health.
Shift notes indicate 8-hour varied days.
Required certifications are BLS and CST.
