Position Summary
Fisher's Technology is seeking a qualified candidate for this temporary placement in our Boise office, spanning approximately 6-8 months with the potential to become a permanent position. The Delivery Support Specialist plays a critical support role within the Distribution Center by assisting the Service Team with urgent emergency toner deliveries, standard large quantity supply runs, and general errand duties. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position that helps keep daily operations running smoothly and ensures that internal teams and customers receive what they need quickly and accurately.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being on the move, helping others, and contributing to the overall workflow of the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities
Local Delivery & Pickups
- Complete emergency toner deliveries to customers.
- Complete emergency parts deliveries to field service technicians in.
- Pick up empty toner containers for disposal, defective toner or parts returns, or paperwork from customer sites when required.
- Run time-sensitive errands for the Distribution Center, Service Department, Sales Team, and other internal departments.
- Assist with daily DC flow as needed (e.g., staging, light sorting, simple tasks).
- Represent Fisher's professionally while interacting with customers on quick drop-off visits.
- Obtain signatures or proof-of-delivery when required.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with the appropriate internal department or team.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
- Keep company vehicle clean, fueled, and in good working condition, and report vehicle maintenance needs to management as needed.
- Report any delivery issues, route concerns, or customer feedback to management promptly.

Requirements
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (items like toner boxes or small accessories).
• Comfortable driving a company vehicle throughout the day.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
• Familiarity with Boise and surrounding areas preferred.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining performance standards.
Preferred (But Not Required)
• Previous courier, delivery, warehouse, or customer-facing experience.
• Basic understanding of copier/printer supplies or office equipment.
