What You'll Do (Responsibilities & Expectations)
Inventory Management
- Accurately track, count, and record inventory levels on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
- Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Maintain proper labeling, organization, and storage of all inventory items.
- Assist with forecasting inventory needs to prevent overstocking or shortages.
- Update inventory management software with incoming and outgoing stock.
- Generate and review inventory reports for accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures for inventory documentation.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect materials for damage or defects and report issues promptly.
- Prepare and package orders for shipment while meeting accuracy and timeline requirements.
- Work closely with purchasing, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure smooth inventory flow.
- Communicate shortages, delays, or issues to supervisors and relevant departments.
- Support audits and compliance checks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow company policies, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
- Meet productivity, accuracy, and timeliness goals consistently.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Be flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of inventory, warehouse, or supply chain experience
- Comfortable using inventory management software and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Able to lift/move up to 40-50 lbs
- Good communication skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Associate's degree or certification in supply chain management, logistics, or related field.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar).
- Knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures and best practices.
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles for process improvement.
Job Type: Full time - Monday to Friday 730am to 430pm, alternating Saturdays 9am to 2pm
