Job Description:
The Material Handler is responsible for performing material handling functions to support all internal and external customers in an accurate and timely manner.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Minimum of 6 months of experience driving Sit-down Forklift (Propane)
• Loads and unloads trucks, verifies load lists, and moves materials and items to storage, production, service, office, or other designated areas.
• Responsible for loading and unloading customer and company vehicles.
• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory.
• Performing cycle counts and inventory management.
• Stack / load pallets and transport material by operating various types of material handling equipment (e.g., forklift)
• Inspecting in-bound/out-bound material for damage and proper documentation.
• Notifies manager or coworkers of shortages, discrepancies, or anticipated needs.
• Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering materials and supplies
• Performs all assigned work effectively and on schedule and accurately follows instructions.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with company safety rules, procedures, and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in the propane sit-down forklift.
- Must Be eligible to work in the United States.

Schedule:
1st Shift Monday - Friday 6:00AM-2:30PM with possibility of working overtime.
2nd Shift Monday - Friday 12:00PM - 8:00PM with possibility of working overtime

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience operating a forklift or lift truck
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
  • Basic math skills for inventory tracking and order picking
  • Knowledge of mechanical operations and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
  • Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
  • Forklift Experience is Required
  • Must be eligible to work in the USA.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1Years- Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
  • 1 Years - Experience working in Position
  • 1 Years - Experience managing people/project
Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Weekends as needed
