The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following fundamental duties:

  • Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Performing account analysis and reconciliation
  • Reviewing general ledger accounts and preparing and adjusting journal entries
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify variances and trends, and provide insights to management.
  • Analyze current accounting procedures and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Ability to create ad-hoc reports to assist in account analysis
Education/Experience Requirements
  • Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a staff accountant or similar role.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
