Job Description
  • Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets and forecasts to ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Review and analyze project costs, identifying variances and recommending solutions to stay on track.
  • Collaborate with project managers to deliver accurate financial reporting and analysis.
  • Maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies throughout all project phases.
  • Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable for assigned projects.
  • Reconcile project accounts and prepare monthly financial statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and provide necessary documentation as needed.
  • Support leadership with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Accountant should have:
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in financial reporting and project accounting processes.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Great attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
