Senior Accountant

Soni's growing client is adding a Senior Accountant to their team. This role involves overseeing financial records, ensuring accurate account reconciliations, and managing journal entries. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports in line with accounting standards, analyzing discrepancies, and addressing management queries. The position also entails working with auditors, refining financial policies, assisting with board presentations, and contributing to overall financial accuracy and compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
- 5-7 years of experience in accounting, with knowledge of revenue processes.
- Strong grasp of financial principles and reporting standards.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel and general office applications.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- CPA certification or progress towards it is advantageous.
- Experience in healthcare financial management.
- Knowledge of enterprise accounting software like PeopleSoft.
- Familiarity with financial reporting for executive stakeholders.
Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
