Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Mental Health Technician in our Behavioral Health Unit at Baptist Medical Center in Downton Jacksonville. This is a PRN Days opportunity. 7:00am-7:00pm
As a Mental Health Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Provides care to patients in a manner that considers safety, comfort, and therapeutic environment under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
- Documents observations on assigned patients, Communicates appropriate information regarding patient's condition.
- Assists with patient education groups, total milieu supervision, assists with admissions/discharges as assigned.
- *CPI Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
Positions designated as requiring a level II Background ( A detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that check state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
