Position Summary

Ruoff Mortgage is looking for an Desktop Support Analyst Intern for Summer 2026. Our internship program runs from Wednesday, May 20th - Friday, August 7th. This position will assist the Desktop Support team in the IT Department with various tasks for the company-wide Ruoff team.

Responsibilities
  • Learn and discover the intricacies of Microsoft Intune and Autopilot as we spearhead a project to replace the companies' aging laptops
  • Assist in the replacement of printers/scanners/copiers while learning the functionality of a print server
  • Help manage inventory and proper disposal of assets utilizing Active directory, security applications, and Asset management software
  • Active Directory revamp: Help us create dynamic groups that automate the way Ruoff works and provides correct access to its users
  • Maintains a professional image and standards consistent with company policies and procedures
  • Responsible for a high level of confidentiality and security while handling personal information; verbal and/or written documentation
  • Perform other tasks as requested
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Must be working towards Bachelor's degree in Information Technologies, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols, PC hardware and software installation, Active Directory, M365, Entra AD administration and similar skills needed
  • Technical writing skills are a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products-Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Attention to detail, multi-tasking and broad communication skills are essential

Physical Demands:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; stoop; talk and hear.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close and distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Occasionally lift, carry and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
  • Professional atmosphere in both an open or remote work environment
  • Routinely uses office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinet and fax machine.

Throughout the summer, interns connect with leaders and peers through interactive Lunch & Learns, where they explore Mortgage 101, credit basics, department spotlights, and professional skills, plus weekly meetings focused on career readiness, leadership, and collaboration. Along the way, interns enjoy networking opportunities, community volunteer events, team outings, and wrap up the summer by showcasing their work in a group project presentation, making it a memorable and meaningful experience from start to finish
