Production Manager | Whitehall, MI

Salary Range: $82,000 - $122,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to schedules.
  • Manage, train, and evaluate production staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet output targets and deadlines.
  • Monitor production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement lean manufacturing principles.
  • Ensure strict compliance with quality control standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Analyze production data and metrics to optimize resource utilization and reduce operational costs.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, and quality departments to resolve issues and improve workflows.
Recommended Qualifications
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a production management or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean methodologies, and quality control systems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage production teams effectively
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling software
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field
Bonus Qualifications
  • Certified in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like SAP or Oracle.
  • Experience with the implementation of new manufacturing technologies or automation.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
