Job Description
Quick summary: Fast-paced urgent care clinic seeking a reliable Medical Assistant to run intake, phlebotomy/EKG, point-of-care testing, EMR charting, and support patient flow.

Top responsibilities:

  • Take vitals, patient histories, and room patients; document in EMR.
  • Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, point-of-care testing, and specimen collection.
  • Prep rooms, assist providers with basic procedures, and manage supplies.
  • Verify insurance, collect payments, and support front/back office patient flow.
  • Accurately document follow-ups, referrals, and test results.
Must-have qualifications
  • MediClear (or equivalent) certification - required.
  • Phlebotomy and EKG experience in clinic/urgent care.
  • Proficient with EMR documentation; strong communication and multitasking.
  • Able to pass background/employment verification.
