Key Responsibilities

  • Perform complete vehicle disassemblies to support collision estimators in damage assessment and 100% repair planning.
  • Identify and complete all necessary repairs to minimize supplemental work and reduce repair time.
  • Plan and execute work procedures according to established work orders.
  • Disassemble and reassemble vehicle components, ensuring the careful handling of all parts.
  • Repair damaged body panels using beading, filling, and welding techniques to meet industry standards.
  • Utilize various hand and power tools safely (e.g., welder, cutting torch, spray guns).
  • Smooth repaired surfaces in preparation for painting.
  • Replace or repair defective parts as required.
  • Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
  • Adhere to Classic Collision's standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • I-CAR or ASE certifications are preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in collision repair is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License is required.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Ability to read and understand written instructions and information.
  • Successful completion of a background check is required.

Physical & Environmental Requirements:
