Cannon Rivers Senior Living is a proud member of the Vista Senior Living Management network, where compassionate care meets exceptional living. With 16 communities spanning across multiple states, Vista Senior Living specializes in Assisted Living and Memory Care services. Our dedicated team ensures a nurturing environment where seniors thrive and find joy in every moment.

We are looking for a positive and reliable Dietary Aides who understands how important his/her work is to providing quality care for residents.

Available shifts:

  • 6 am -2:30 pm every other weekend
  • 4 pm -7 pm Thursday and Friday then 6a-2:30p Saturday and Sunday, then 4p-7p on Monday.
  • 3:30 pm -7 pm Monday-Thursday

Main responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the cleanliness of food preparation areas
  • Serving food to residents in the lunchroom/bringing food to residents in their rooms
  • Cleaning eating areas after meals
  • Bringing in delivered food items from vendors providers and stocking the pantry/fridge/freezer
  • Adhering to all health and safety procedures during the process of food preparation
  • Additional duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Knowledge of safe food preparation and handling techniques.
  • Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the job.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members.
  • Ability to be patient and polite.
  • Ability to be accurate, concise and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to read, speak, understand and communicate effectively in English through verbal and written means.
