The pay for this position starts at $20.50/hour, with additional compensation added for higher education and/or years of relevant experience up to $23.87/hour.
This position is located in Webster, MA.
The schedule for this position is: Double Sunday (7am - 11pm), Wednesday - Friday 3p-11p
$250 Bonus if MAP Certified
Devereux - Massachusetts serves students with various complex psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder.Devereux's Webster House program serves co-ed youth, ages 4 to 14,on a rapid reintegration care program. With a 1:3 staff to student ratio, the main focus at this program is to identify and treat safety/risk factors, barrier behaviors, and factors that precipitated placement; and facilitate reintegration of the youth to the family or next appropriate placement in the shortest time period possible.
As a Direct Support/Care Professional, you will:

Be passionate about working with and helping youth.

Be responsible for the safety and security of all youth as assigned by providing direct supervision.
-
Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.
-
Engage with youth in a meaningful and positive manner, teaching and prompting appropriate behaviors, and providing positive reinforcement for the same.

Teach and assist with Activities of Daily (ADL) Living Skills.

Possess adequate organizational and communication skills needed to complete required documentation, such as progress notes and incident reports.

Qualifications
Job Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age or older.
-
Valid driver's license required .
-
High School diploma or GED required . Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
-
Previous experience working with individuals under 21 with psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, and/or autism spectrum disorders preferred .
-
Must be able to attend a 2-week paid orientation, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM, in Rutland, MA.
-
Must be MAPS certified, or able to obtain certification within 90 days of employment.
