Job Summary

As an IT Quality Assurance Analyst, you will ensure that software systems meet required functionality and compliance standards. This position involves testing system requirements, conducting preliminary ADA/SOM standards reviews, assisting with vulnerability security scanning, and ensuring DTMB and vendor partners deliver quality, fully tested solutions to supported agencies. The analyst also advocates for adherence to PSPs, ensuring secure data access, usage, and storage while maintaining quality across web and mobile systems for DNR, EGLE, and MDARD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a software tester, validating that all system requirements are testable and accurately met.
  • Perform preliminary ADA/SOM standards reviews of systems and applications.
  • Assist in application vulnerability security scanning.
  • Ensure DTMB and vendor partners deliver a fully tested, high-quality solution.
  • Advocate for and enforce compliance with SOM PSPs regarding system security and data handling.
  • Collaborate with business partners to uphold QA standards across IT systems, websites, and web and mobile applications.
  • Coordinate testing efforts between technical and business teams to maintain consistent quality.
Required Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of writing and executing manual test cases.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with defect tracking and management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience validating test results and tracking testing metrics.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in communicating test and defect activities with project teams and customers.
  • Minimum 2 years testing ADA accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA).
  • Minimum 2 years reviewing and triaging vulnerability scan results.
