Job Description

We are seeking skilled pipefitters to lead teams of apprentices in a variety of mechanical projects. You will play a critical role in the installation, welding, and repair of piping systems, contributing to the success of diverse construction jobs. We are looking to hire immediately and our pay scale is negotiable for skilled candidates but our ideal range is $30 - $38 an hour.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of apprentices in installation jobs.

• Weld and repair piping systems for various mechanical projects.

• Read and interpret construction drawings accurately.

• Collaborate effectively with general contractors and other construction professionals.

• Maintain precise records of time worked, tasks completed, and materials used.

• Complete projects under the guidance of a master plumber.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in plumbing, construction, and blueprint reading.

• Strong skills in installation, cast iron, mechanical, and piping work.

• Experience with HVAC systems.

• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years of plumbing experience required.

• Experience in a healthcare setting is highly preferred.

• Local plumbers are preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Old Orchard Beach, ME.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
