Job Title: Tax Manager
Location: Irving, Texas (Hybrid; open to fully remote for the right candidate)
Compensation: $125,000 to $150,000
Benefits: Health, 401k, Dental
A leading financial services firm based in Irving, Texas, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Tax Manager to join our team. We offer a collaborative work environment with opportunities for career growth and development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting and tax return preparation, with the ability to manage tax processes from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review various tax returns, including 1065, 1040, 1120S, 990, 1041, etc.
- Manage the tax process from cradle to grave, with hands-on involvement.
- Oversee and eventually run the tax department, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Coach and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- EA or CPA certification required.
- 4-7 years of public accounting experience.
- Proven experience in tax return preparation and review.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- US citizens, permanent residents, and visa holders are welcome to apply.
- Hybrid work environment with flexibility for fully remote work for out-of-area candidates.
- Travel arrangements will be made for ideal out-of-state candidates to meet the team in person.
