Warranty Technician

A company in Elkhart, IN is looking to hire a Warranty Technician that focuses on remote technical support and troubleshooting. About 95% of the work is office-based, communicating with customers by phone and email to diagnose and resolve HVAC issues. The ideal candidate has automotive A/C experience (12V systems) and a solid technical background that allows them to understand installation and troubleshooting steps.
Responsibilities:
Provide phone and email troubleshooting support for customers and service centers.
Guide technicians through installation and diagnostic procedures using existing step-by-step documentation.
Use Google Sheets and Google Workspace tools for tracking, communication, and documentation.
Collaborate with warranty and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Experience in automotive or commercial vehicle A/C systems (12V).
Strong technical aptitude and ability to interpret wiring diagrams or service manuals.
Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Candidates with residential HVAC experience are also encouraged to apply and will be trained on industry-specific systems.
