Join the dynamic Plant Accounting Team at Plastipak, where you will have the opportunity to collaborate with plant operations on impactful projects that drive efficiency, budgeting, and financial accuracy.

You Will:

  • Analyze and provide insightful commentary on actual vs. planned key performance metrics and site budgets.
  • Work closely with the plant manager and plant controller to ensure compliance with corporate policies and enhance business activities.
  • Participate in preparing impactful presentations for monthly and quarterly business reviews, annual budget plans, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate and participate in quarter-end and year-end physical inventory audits for accuracy.
  • Accurately determine costs related to raw material purchases, inventory management, and labor expenses.
  • Deliver adhoc reporting and analysis to support leadership decisions.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of accounting experience.
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% as needed.
  • Experience with SAP software is highly preferred.
