This role is crucial for the success of our retail operations. As a Bilingual Customer Service Specialist, you will engage with wholesale and retail customers to assess their needs, answer queries about Sherwin-Williams products, and provide tailored solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to resolve customer concerns promptly, ensuring maximum satisfaction while keeping updated on product features and maintaining visual standards in the store. You will strive to deliver exceptional customer service while consistently meeting sales targets.

The position involves interaction with customers, including minors, as well as access to cash, payment methods, electronic equipment, and store merchandise, which may be supervised or unsupervised. Therefore, a review of criminal history is required to safeguard our business operations, as well as the safety of customers, staff, and the community.

You will be expected to work at stores within a 30-mile radius of the following locations:

  • 3065 Cranberry Hwy Ste 2, East Wareham, MA 02538
  • 643 State Rd. N. Dartmouth, MA 02747

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
  • Assist customers both in person and over the phone by identifying their needs and recommending appropriate products and services.
  • Build trusting relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
  • Process sales transactions accurately in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Achieve sales goals consistently on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Maintain accurate work order files and formulas.
  • Retrieve appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
  • Tint and mix products as per customer specifications.
  • Stock shelves and create displays.
  • Keep store equipment clean and organized.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks.
  • Assist with deliveries as needed.
  • Ensure assigned areas remain well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Stay knowledgeable about product offerings and available options.
  • Comply with inventory control procedures.
  • Offer suggestions to improve sales.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be authorized to work in the country without needing sponsorship.
  • Must hold a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Must be willing to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least a High School diploma or GED.
  • One year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
  • Experience with selling paint and paint-related products.
  • Familiarity with operating tinting and mixing equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language, preferably Spanish.
