Position: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location: Crown Point, IN
Majestic Care ABA is proud to expand into the area and is actively hiring dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. What We're Looking For:
-
Education: Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field preferred (but not required)
-
Experience: Experience working with children in a behavioral setting is preferred (but not required-we'll train the right person)
-
Training: Completion of a 40-hour RBT training course (can be provided)
-
Certification: Registered Behavior Technician certification preferred (we can help you become certified)
-
Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older
-
Transportation: Valid driver's license and safe driving record
-
Technology: Basic computer skills required; willingness to learn and use data collection software
-
Must be dependable, consistent, and open to working with various clients and locations as needed
Key Responsibilities:
-
Deliver 1:1 therapy to clients using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
-
Collect data on behavior and skill acquisition using provided electronic systems (no personal devices)
-
Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill development goals as outlined by supervising BCBAs
-
Complete accurate and timely session notes; secure parent/caregiver signatures when required
-
Attend weekly or as-needed supervision meetings with the supervising BCBA to review client progress and receive feedback
-
Maintain open, respectful communication with families and caregivers
-
Support the maintenance of a clean and organized therapy environment

Ensure reinforcement materials are updated and notify BCBA of any needed supplies
-
Remain focused solely on the assigned client during sessions (not responsible for other children in the home)
