Technical Recruiting Consultant

Location: Hybrid out of either downtown Columbus, OH or Des Moines, IA
Pay: $41.24/hr

Our client is seeking a highly technical Recruiting Consultant to support hiring across their technology teams, with occasional work in marketing and legal. This role is ideal for a recruiter who is confident engaging with technology leaders, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and excels at driving end-to-end recruitment with strategic impact.

Job Duties

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for technology roles, managing specialized and leadership searches from sourcing through offer.
  • Consult with tech leaders on role requirements, tech stacks, platforms, and emerging industry trends.
  • Build and maintain deep, diverse talent pipelines to support current and future workforce needs.
  • Partner with HR and senior leadership to develop and execute strategic recruiting plans.
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience while representing our client's brand and values.
  • Leverage ATS and AI-enabled tools (Workday preferred) to optimize workflow and sourcing effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • 8-10 years of corporate recruiting experience, with strong emphasis on technology hiring.
  • Ability to confidently engage with technical leaders and understand complex tech profiles.
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems; Workday strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, influencing, and consultative skills.
  • Knowledge of HR and recruiting best practices, including sourcing strategies and compliance.

Upon acceptance of offer, candidates will be required to submit to a 10-year criminal background check, urinalysis drug screen, and soft credit screen.
