Halff has an opening for a Graduate Civil Engineer in our Dallas, TX office for our Land Development team. The position will be for a General Civil Engineer interested in Land Development design. Graduate Civil Engineer - Land Development Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and design of Land Development projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer
- Perform schematic design work, calculations and analysis for design projects
- Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents
- Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors and contractors
- Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
- Valid Driver's License and acceptable Driving Record
- The ability to obtain an EIT Certificate within one (1) year of start date
- Technical experience with CADD
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D
- 0 to 3 years of experience in Land Development projects (New graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Knowledge of local codes and design criteria
