Electrical Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Industry: Engineering / Architecture / Mission Critical
Type: Full-Time

We are working with a reputable and growing engineering firm seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design and engineering of electrical power and lighting systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work on technically complex and high-impact projects, with a focus on data centers and other mission critical environments.
Responsibilities:
  • Design electrical power distribution and lighting systems using Revit
  • Support electrical engineering for data centers, industrial, or commercial buildings
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, structural, and architectural disciplines
  • Conduct load calculations, prepare panel schedules, and produce construction documents
  • Participate in project meetings and coordinate with clients and consultants
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical systems design (power and lighting)
  • Proficiency in Revit for electrical design work
  • Strong understanding of NEC, energy codes, and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
Preferred:
  • Experience in data center or mission critical projects
  • PE license or on track to obtain it
