Incline Veterinary Hospital and Doctors Office for Pets are seeking an experienced Veterinary Hospital Manager to support and lead two collaborative practices in the beautiful Tahoe region. This is a unique multi-site leadership opportunity with time evenly split between Incline Veterinary Hospital in Incline Village, Nevada and Doctors Office for Pets in Truckee, California.

This role blends people leadership, hospital operations, and hands-on clinical support. We are looking for a visible, engaged leader who leads by example, fosters strong team culture, and partners closely with medical leadership to ensure smooth daily operations across both locations.

About the role:

As the Hospital Manager, you will work closely with the Medical Director and department leads at both hospitals to support staff development, operational consistency, and continued growth. You will divide your time evenly between the two practices, building strong relationships with each team while maintaining alignment in standards, communication, and performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Team and Culture Leadership
  Support department leads, build strong working relationships, and foster a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented environment across both hospitals.
• HR and People Management
  Oversee staffing, onboarding, training, development, and performance feedback while supporting a healthy and respectful team dynamic.
• Hospital Operations
  Coordinate scheduling, inventory, workflows, and compliance efforts. Balance clinical support with administrative oversight at both locations.
• Financial Oversight
  Contribute to budgeting, payroll, and financial tracking. Business and financial skills are helpful and can be further developed with support.
• Client Experience
  Support positive client experiences through clear communication, service standards, and thoughtful issue resolution.
• Strategic Partnership
  Collaborate with Medical Directors and leadership teams to identify opportunities for growth and support long-term hospital goals.

Schedule:

This is a full-time position with flexible availability required based on business needs and travel between Incline Village and Truckee.

Full-time benefits and compensation**:

• Compensation: $34-42 per hour, for each hour worked*
• Quarterly bonus opportunities: Based on hospital performance

Your Qualifications

• Clinical experience in a veterinary setting, with the ability to support appointments, surgical preparation, and nursing care
• Leadership or administrative experience within a veterinary or healthcare environment
• Ability to coach, mentor, and support team members while navigating a variety of personalities and situations with professionalism and emotional intelligence
• Collaborative leadership style with strong communication and follow-through
• Licensed Veterinary Technician strongly preferred
• CVPM or similar credentials strongly preferred
