Our client is a leading Bulge Bracket, who is seeking a highly motivated junior Associate to join its FinTech Investment Banking team in New York. The ideal candidate will have direct FinTech investment banking experience and M&A experience. This is a high-impact role on a lean, high-performing team that executes complex, high-profile transactions across the FinTech ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support execution of M&A transactions, including buy-side, sell-side, and strategic advisory mandates.
  • Assist in preparing financial models, valuation analyses, and client presentations.
  • Create and review financial models, valuation analyses, and client presentations.
  • Coduct industry specific and company-specific research to support transaction execution and business development.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to develop pitch materials and transaction documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal product partners (e.g., ECM, DCM, LevFin) to deliver integrated solutions.
Qualifications
  • 3-4 years of experience in investment banking.
  • Exposure to FinTech or Technology sectors is a plus.
  • Strong technical skills in financial modeling, valuation, and transaction structuring.
  • Deep understanding of fintech subsectors such as, lending, neobanking, insurtech, and infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication, written, and verbal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required; finance, economics, or related field preferred.
