E-Communication Investigations Reviewer
Location: Dallas, TX (preferred; on-site training required for first 2-3 weeks)
Contract: 9+ months

The E-Communication Investigations Reviewer supports a new internal e-communications investigations function for a financial-services client. This role sits at the intersection of legal, HR, and technology, focusing on hands-on review of emails, chats, Teams messages, and other digital communications. The reviewer will triage matters, assess factual merit, and prepare clear, chronological summaries and presentations for senior HR and security leadership. This is not a litigation, attorney, or engineering role - it requires investigative analysis and strong e-communication review capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Review and filter e-communications (email, Teams, chat, etc.) to identify relevant facts.
  • Configure and manage the review workflow and processes.
  • Perform data filtering, clustering, and keyword/document culling within e-discovery platforms.
  • Analyze communication patterns and determine factual case findings.
  • Triage investigative matters and escalate appropriately.
  • Produce concise, factual chronological reports and executive summaries.
  • Deliver verbal briefings and presentations to senior HR and security stakeholders.
  • Cross-train and collaborate with the internal investigations team.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience in internal investigations or document review supporting investigations.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one e-discovery/document-review platform (e.g., Relativity, Reveal, Everlaw, or similar).
  • Strong investigative mindset: curiosity, non-linear thinking, ability to spot factual gaps.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including clear chronological reporting.
  • Confident verbal communication skills for leadership briefings.
  • Ability to independently coordinate with HR, legal, and security teams.
  • Skilled in data filtering, keyword/document triage, and pattern recognition.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with Everlaw (training will be provided; platform experience is transferable).
  • Demonstrated ability to produce concise, executive-ready investigative summaries.
Additional Information
  • Candidates must be able to commute to the Dallas office for initial on-site training (2-3 weeks).
  • Strong investigative instincts and curiosity are key to success in this role.
  • Not a legal practitioner or engineering position; ideal for individuals with hybrid investigative and document-review experience.
