Job Description
The role of a Forklift Operator involves utilizing forklifts, primarily standing with occasional sitting, to efficiently move materials for various purposes such as loading trailers and flatbeds, relocating materials to and from the production area, and managing inventory. You will use a high-reach truck to access materials from elevated shelves and employ RF scanners and tracking systems to ensure accurate inventory management. Additionally, you will prepare completed equipment, accessories, and service parts for shipment, ensuring they are properly loaded. Quality checks on materials and workmanship are essential to verify conformance to standards, and you will be responsible for maintaining records and documents.
Responsibilities
  • Utilize forklifts to move materials for loading, unloading, and relocating.
  • Operate high-reach trucks to access materials on high shelves.
  • Use RF scanners and tracking systems for inventory management.
  • Prepare shipments of completed equipment and parts, ensuring proper loading.
  • Check the quality and workmanship of materials to ensure they meet standards.
  • Maintain records and documents related to inventory and shipments.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and high-reach trucks.
  • Experience with RF scanners or similar equipment.
  • Material handling and inventory management skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Experience with both forklift and high-reach equipment is preferred.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.50/hr.
