Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with CA license, cardiac scrub and circulate experience, and Epic EMR proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Work in a hospital Operating Room setting
  • Covers surgical services including Cardiac, Hepatobiliary, Robotic, Spine, and Ophthalmology cases
  • Required to scrub and circulate
  • Variable day shifts (4x10 hours) with staggered start times (7 am, 9 am, 11 am, 1 pm)
  • Rotating weekend shifts required
  • May float to other locations if census is low
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • Primary role includes scrubbing and circulating for a broad range of surgical cases
  • Will participate in required orientation and e-learning modules during onboarding
  • Only one holiday request for time off will be approved
  • Local candidates are accepted at a different pay rate
  • Pre-employment background screening is required
Requirements
  • Current CA RN license required
  • BLS certification from AHA required
  • Minimum of 2 years RN experience required
  • At least 1 year of recent Cardiac OR experience required
  • Experience in Hepatobiliary, Robotic, Spine, and Ophthalmology surgical services
  • Scrub and circulate experience required
  • All certifications must be in hand at time of consideration
  • 50 mile distance requirement from facility applies
  • Must be able to complete lab work within 3-5 days of offer
  • Return staff must be gone at least 1 year to be eligible
