What you need to know about this position:

  • Busy Anatomical Pathology Laboratory with state-of-the-art equipment, with the opportunity to work independently within a small group.

  • Under general supervision of a pathologist, independently performs or assists in accessioning, dissection, gross description and histologic sampling of a full range of surgical specimens.

  • Grossing Tech is available for support when needed based on volume.

  • This is a salaried position. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.

  • In this position you would be scheduled to work 8:00AM –5:00PM; Monday through Friday; 40 weekly hours.

What is required for this position:

  • Master’s degree from a NAACLS accredited pathologist's assistant program required. New grads welcome to apply.

  • Current certification from the American Association of Pathologists’ Assistants or the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) is preferred.
